Our Story

Started in 1967, Southwest Railroad Car Parts began life salvaging railroad cars. As the times changed so did the business. While still closely tied to the railroad industry we have expanded operations over the years to become a full service metal recycling business. Now operating as Southwest Scrap & Salvage we look to satisfy all the metal recycling needs of both the DFW and Longview areas.
